Bleh. Today was the first day back at school. I have to be honest and say that it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I guess after an agonisingly long English lesson and an awful Maths lesson (in which my teacher made me go bright red, more than once, when he loudly pointed out that I was doing the work wrong. Yeah, thanks for that.) Figuring out where we were going to sit at lunch was as ever, a huge problem. Espesially after the school was so incredibly rude and built a block of classrooms where the Nerd Herd usually sit on the field. How inconsiderate.
Prissy and my step dad are out the front garden watering the flower bed. The step dad having to supervise as he just left her alone for a second only to return and see her drowning a selection of tulips. As she moves on to the next section she stands there tipping the watering can up for a while only to realise a few minutes later that she had ran out of water. Reminds me of the time my auntie was told to water the flowers. We got home and she said to us, 'I got soaked watering the flowers, it was raining.' Erm. OK. Duh! Bless her little cotton socks.
I was sitting in the garden when I got home from school, where my mum was bird watching (I know, she leads an extremely exciting lifestyle). I dont know how she finds that interesting. In all honesty birds kind of frighten me. I mean, you never know if they are going to poo on your head when they fly over, and then there's always that time I got attacked at the bird sanctuary, when a grouchy bird viscously pecked away at my head, neck shoulders and took a chunck out of my finger! (Yes, it was a little budgie but that's beside the point.) I think I'd rather the flying monkeys in 'The Wizard of Oz'. At least they're unusual and you wouldn't have to fork out for a day trip to Twycross Zoo. It also appeals to me being able to stand in the garden yelling manicly 'FLY MY PRETTIES, FLY.FLY!'
When I started this blog and thought of the title, I sent Bunny a message saying: 'I don't know if Tales of a Teen Drama Queen is a good title. I'm not very dramatic.' Only now looking back at these confessional blogs am I truly realsing how wrong I was. Oops! Oh well, you'll get over it!
